Teacher: Good morning, my dear students.
How are you?
Student: Good morning. Fine, sir.
Teacher: This is my first English class
with you. Welcome, all of you, to my class. You have been admitted to this
school to get an education. Do you know what education is? What is your
name? You say, "What is called education?"
Student: My name is Aman, sir.
Education is the formal learning of
changing behavior, sir.
Teacher: Thank you. I have another
question for you.
Student: What question, sir?
Teacher: Do you know the importance of
education?
Student: No, sir. Can you tell me
the importance of education?
Teacher: Sure. Then listen.
Education is the backbone of a nation. No nation can progress without
education. It improves us physically, mentally, and economically.
Student: But how, sir?
Teacher: Education helps to keep the body
healthy by acquiring health knowledge. It broadens our minds and removes
the narrowness of our minds. Besides, by getting an education, we can get
jobs, which in turn improves our economy.
Student: Thank you, sir. Is there
any more importance of education, sir?
Teacher: Yes, there is. Education
removes the darkness of ignorance and makes us human. Besides, education
removes our superstitions and teaches us to distinguish between right and
wrong. In short, education helps us to become a man from no man.

অর্জনের মাধ্যমে আমরা চাকরি পেতে পারি যা আমাদের অর্থনীতিকে উন্নত করে।
ছাত্র: ধন্যবাদ, স্যার। শিক্ষার কি আর কোন গুরুত্ব আছে, স্যার?
শিক্ষক: হ্যাঁ, আছে। শিক্ষা অজ্ঞতার অন্ধকার দূর করে এবং আমাদের মানুষ করে। এছাড়া শিক্ষা আমাদের কুসংস্কার দূর করে এবং সঠিক ও ভুলের মধ্যে
পার্থক্য করতে শেখায়। সংক্ষেপে, শিক্ষা আমাদেরকে অমানুষ থেকে মানুষ হতে সাহায্য করে।
