A devastating fire accident story
Rahima worked in a garment factory. Every day she went to work on time. One morning, she was working as usual. Suddenly, she heard screaming inside the factory. People were crying, “Fire! Fire!” Rahima became afraid. She ran towards the sound. When she reached the spot, she saw flames rising high. The fire was spreading very fast inside the factory. Soon, the fire brigade force arrived. They tried their best to stop the fire. They used water pipes and fire extinguishers. But the fire was too strong. Thick black smoke made it hard to breathe. Many workers were running here and there. Some were shouting for help. The firemen continued their work. After two long hours, they were finally able to control the fire. But a great tragedy had already happened. Many workers got trapped inside. Several people died in the fire. Some were badly burnt. Rahima was also injured. Flames touched her body and burned her skin. She fell on the floor and could not move. A fireman rescued her and took her outside. Later, she was taken to the hospital. The doctors treated her carefully. Rahima was in deep pain, but she was alive. She thanked Allah for saving her life. The incident changed her forever.
Moral of the story: One should be careful at work and never ignore fire or danger.
