 Jute Composition

Jute is one of the most important cash crops in Bangladesh. It is often called the “Golden Fiber” of Bangladesh. Mainly, Jute grows well in hot and wet weather, like in Bangladesh and India. The fertile soil is necessary for jute cultivation.

Usually, farmers sow jute seeds in the month of March or April. The plants grow within a few months. When the plants become mature, they are cut down and soaked in water for some days to make the fibers soft. Then the fibers are separated from the stalks, washed, and dried in the sun. After that, they are ready to be sent to factories to make various products.

Jute is used to make many useful things, such as bags, mats, ropes, carpets, and clothes. Many people in Bangladesh depend on the jute industry for their livelihood. Jute mills and factories provide jobs for thousands of workers.

In the past, jute was one of the main export items of Bangladesh and earned a large amount of foreign currency. Now, people are again realizing the importance of jute because it is eco-friendly.

In conclusion, jute is a valuable gift of nature. It not only helps our economy but also keeps our environment clean. So, we should take proper steps to increase jute production and make better use of this golden fiber.
