Dengue fever report writing for hsc
Dengue fever is a serious viral disease, and it has become a major health problem in Bangladesh, especially in Dhaka
city. Dengue is caused by the dengue virus, and it spreads through the bite of
an infected Aedes mosquito. This mosquito usually breeds in clean standing
water and bites mostly during the daytime. Dhaka is highly affected by dengue
because it is an overpopulated city with poor drainage systems, unplanned
buildings, and frequent waterlogging during the rainy season. Water collects
in flower tubs, plastic containers, old tires, water tanks, and construction
sites, which creates a perfect environment for mosquitoes to grow. Common
symptoms of dengue fever include high fever, severe headache, pain behind the
eyes, joint and muscle pain, vomiting, and skin rash. In severe cases, dengue
can cause a dangerous drop in platelets, bleeding, and even death if proper
treatment is not given on time. Dengue can be prevented by controlling
mosquitoes and keeping the environment clean. People should not allow water to
remain stagnant, should use mosquito nets and repellents, and should keep their
surroundings clean. The government should take effective steps to clean the
city, improve drainage, spray insecticides, and create public awareness. If
both the government and people work together, dengue can be controlled, and many
lives in Dhaka can be saved.
