Road accident report writing for HSC
Road accidents are one of the most
serious problems in Bangladesh, especially in Dhaka city. Every year, a large
number of people die in road accidents, and many families suffer because of it.
The main causes of road accidents in Dhaka are reckless and careless driving,
violation of traffic rules, untrained drivers, overspeeding, and driving under
the influence of drugs. The roads of Dhaka are overcrowded with buses, trucks,
private cars, and rickshaws, which create traffic chaos. Poor road conditions,
narrow roads, lack of footpaths, illegal parking, and faulty traffic signals
also increase accidents. Pedestrians are the worst victims because they have to
cross busy roads without proper zebra crossings or footbridges. Road accidents
cause death, serious injuries, permanent disability, and huge economic loss.
Many families lose their only earning member and suffer mentally and
financially. Road accidents can be reduced if proper steps are taken. The
government should enforce traffic laws strictly, improve road conditions, train
drivers properly, and punish lawbreakers. At the same time, people should be
more careful, follow traffic rules, avoid reckless behaviour, and raise public
awareness. If both the authorities and the people work together, road accidents
in Dhaka can be reduced, and many valuable lives can be saved.
