Traffic jam report
Staff Reporter, Khulna, January 22, 2026 :Traffic jam is a common problem in big cities in Bangladesh, especially in Dhaka. Every day, thousands of people suffer because of heavy traffic. Roads become crowded with buses, cars, rickshaws, CNGs, and trucks. As a result, people cannot reach their destination on time. There are many reasons for traffic jam. Too many vehicles on narrow roads is the main cause. Poor traffic management also creates problems. Sometimes, drivers park vehicles in the wrong places. Road repair work and accidents also increase traffic jam. In some areas, street vendors and illegal shops reduce road space. Traffic jam causes serious trouble in daily life. Office workers arrive late. Students miss classes and exams. Ambulances and fire services cannot move quickly. People feel tired, angry, and mentally stressed. Valuable working hours are wasted every day. Traffic jam also harms the environment. Vehicles stay stuck for a long time and produce smoke. This increases air pollution and causes breathing problems. To reduce traffic jam, the government should improve road planning and the traffic system. More flyovers and wider roads are needed. Traffic police must be active and honest. People should follow traffic rules and avoid using unnecessary vehicles. Finally, traffic jam is a painful problem. If the government and people work together, traffic jam can be removed, and life can be easier.
